Kooiker, Stephanie

My name is Stephanie Kooiker, and I joined the Sacred Heart team in the fall of 2023. I have extensive experience teaching and working in various student support roles in the Early Childhood Education setting. Throughout my years in teaching, I have led groups of children PreK-6th grade, with extended experience teaching in Pre-K. Leading a classroom full of children and connecting with our youth is something I am incredibly passionate about, feeling grateful for all of my current and previous experiences in the classroom.

A few cool accomplishments I have had over my teaching years:

In my very first role as a PreK teacher, I received the “Teacher of Distinction” award, which only the top 2% of teachers in the company receive. When teaching in the Wayzata district, I was recognized as a “Teacher of Excellence.” In 2021, I received a “Legacy of Greatness” award through the Catholic School Center of Excellence,for showing extreme flexibility, exuding creativity, and bringing a new level of organization to the program I was running at St. Barts.

I am thrilled to be a part of Sacred Heart Catholic School, and I am so excited to serve the amazing families in this community!
