Thank you for your interest in the Annual Sacred Heart Catholic School Gala! Please see below for some commonly asked questions and answers.
What is the Gala?
It is a fun evening filled with fun, food, and a chance to get to know your fellow Sacred Heart Catholic School and Parish community better. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year and includes a live and silent auction, games and Fund-A Need.
How can I support the Gala?
Our goal is to reach 100% participation through attending the event, volunteering before or at the event, or donating items.
Who attends the Gala?
All are welcome! We especially encourage parents, relatives and family friends of current students to attend, as well as alumni and Sacred Heart parishioners. It is a great community-building event that supports the school.
What should I wear?
Most people take the chance to dress up in cocktail attire-dresses and blazers. You will also see people dressed more casually-in jeans and a nice shirt. Wear what makes you most comfortable.
What time should I arrive?
The event begins at 5:30 pm with silent auction and a cash bar. There is plenty to do before dinner is served at 7:00 pm.
How do you bid on silent and live auction items?
When you order your tickets online, you will save your credit card information on Bidpal. Guests will bid online for the silent auction using their cell phone. For the live auction, guests will have a paddle with your bidder number. Winning bidders will be charged for items won.
If I attend, do I have to buy something?
No! When you purchase a ticket, you are supporting our school, and we are so thankful for that in itself. If you would like to make an additional purchase or donation, there are items available for everyone!
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash and checks are always welcome. If you wish to charge silent and live auction times or other donations using a credit card, you may.
Remember: raffles and beverages are CASH and Checks only!
What should I bring with me?
We recommend you bring cash, a credit card, and appetite!
What is the Fund-A-Need?
After the live auction, our guests will view a video highlighting our students and many programs that we offer. Our Fund-A-Need will support our curriculum, our many programs we offer and our Lend a Hand scholarship fund.
