Leisgang, Morgan

I began teaching middle school students at Sacred Heart, my home parish and alma mater, in 2018. I also work with the faith formation programs in the parish, including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. My husband Ryan and I were married at Sacred Heart in 2021. We recently bought our first house and have enjoyed making it our home. We are excited to welcome Baby Leisgang!

My key conversion moment was when I was a student at Sacred Heart, and I had a powerful experience of God’s love at Extreme Faith Camp through Jesus in the Eucharist. That is when I began to claim the faith and to create a habit of prayer in my own life. Because of this, I know that God can do great things in the lives of my students as well.

I aim to help my students develop an awareness of God, who is all good, who created us in His image and likeness, and who loves us unconditionally so that they can have a relationship with Him and become His faithful disciples. This is especially accomplished by integrating the faith into their daily lives through formation in prayer and reception of the Sacraments.
