Koehler, Jessica

I look forward to getting to know all the band students at Sacred Heart! I began teaching with the Totino-Grace Fine Arts Academy in 2022. I moved to the Twin Cities area from New Ulm, MN where I taught high school band and choir. I graduated and started teaching in 2015. I grew up playing the flute in band. I also taught myself piano and have played organ for my Dad’s church. I am so grateful that I am a music teacher because music can be enjoyed by anyone at any age and at any skill level.

I recently got married in November to my husband, Brady. We enjoy cooking and spending time with our families. I also enjoy spending time with my husky, Ivy, and going for lots of walks. I really started getting into music and band when I was in high school because my high school band director was amazing. I also enjoy movie music, especially Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter.
