What are your school hours?
Kindergarten – 8th grade
7:30-2:10 pm. Arrival 7:15-7:25 a.m.
Is bussing available?
Do to the unreliability of transportation offered through Robbinsdale schools this past year and the district wanting us to change our school time, we have decided to have parents drive their child(ren) to school. We have extended day for students that are unable to be picked up at 2:10 pm.
Do you offer Extended Day?
Yes, we offer Extended Day (Kids Club) after school from 2:10-5:30 pm. We do not offer Extended Day on non-school days.
Does my child have to be Catholic to attend SHCS?
No. We welcome families of all religious backgrounds.
Is there financial aid available?
Yes, for our K-8 students. We know that it is a sacrifice to send your child to a Catholic school. We will work with you to make tuition affordable for you. Parents must complete an annual financial application on TADS.
Are you accredited?
Yes, our K-8 school is accredited by MNSAA, the Minnesota Non-Pubic School Accrediting Association. MNSAA enhances the quality of education through a process of self-evaluation and ongoing improvement. An essential principle is that our schools are evaluated in terms of how well they are guided by their own mission.
Our preschool is licensed by the MN Dept. of Human Services (Rule 3) and accredited by NAEYC, National Association for the Education of Young Children. We also have a 4-Star rating from Parent Aware. We are committed to providing the best preschool program for young children.
Do students wear uniforms?
Students in PreK – 8 grade wear uniforms. Families purchase uniforms at Donald’s Uniform Company in St. Paul. We also have two used uniform sales each year (August and January).
What is the preschool admissions policy?
3 year old PreK: Students must be 3 years old by September 1 to attend our program and be fully potty trained to be admitted to our program.
4 year old PreK: Students must be 4 years old by September 1 to enroll in our program and fully potty trained.
What is the kindergarten admissions policy?
Students must be 5 years old by September 1 to be admitted to our kindergarten program.
Do the students attend mass?
Yes, every Friday morning at 8:00 a.m., our students attend mass. Masses are student-led. Parents and guests may attend mass as well.
Where do most of your 8th grade students go for high school?
Our students have many options available. Many families choose one of our area Catholic schools such as DeLaSalle High School, Totino-Grace High School or Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Many families choose public high school such as Cooper, Armstrong, Maple Grove, St. Louis Park.
