Volunteers are such an important and valued part of our Sacred Heart Catholic School Community. Parents and grandparents are always welcome and encouraged to get involved with their child’s education. Whether you are able to spend a few hours a week or a few hours a month, your help is always appreciated.
All employees and volunteers must complete the Essential 3 as required by the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Mpls.
The Essential 3 includes a background check, code of conduct and safe environment online training.
Directions for new volunteers
- Log into the following website: http://www.virtusonline.org.
- Volunteers will watch a video, complete a background check and code of conduct.
- Step by step directions to create an account and complete the Essential 3.
Every three years, volunteers must RENEW the Essential 3

Volunteer Opportunities
We invite you to take a few minutes to browse through our volunteer web site and choose from a wide array of volunteer opportunities. There are a variety of options and we are sure there will be something appealing and interesting for everyone!
PARTNERSHIP REQUIREMENT:
Each family is asked to volunteer 20 service hours each school year. If hours are not completed by May 15th, a $300 Partnership Fee will be applied. Please continue to check back to this page throughout the school year to view our updated volunteer needs.
