NEW THIS YEAR: VARIABLE TUITION MODEL, K-8
At Sacred Heart Catholic School, we are committed to providing every qualified student the opportunity to benefit from a Catholic education. Our goal is to make this education affordable for as many families as possible.
For the 2026-2027 school year, we will implement a new K-8 tuition model called Variable Tuition. This has been approved by our trustees and Fr. Pedersen. Variable Tuition is a need-based tuition scholarship program. It allows families to apply for a reduced tuition rate that matches their unique financial circumstances. This program helps make Catholic education accessible and affordable for many qualified families who might not otherwise be able to join our SHCS community. If you choose not to apply for a scholarship, the full rate of tuition will apply.
For those who are unable to pay the full tuition, we offer scholarships using the Variable Tuition model. Parents will apply using the TADS application to qualify for a Sacred Heart scholarship and/or Aim Higher Scholarship. Both programs use the same application. Because funds are limited, our leadership committee carefully and prayerfully determines how to best “invest” the available scholarship funds from Sacred Heart for the good of our entire school community. Aim Higher will award their own scholarship funds.
While financial need is an important factor in awarding aid, it does not guarantee assistance. The variable tuition model is used as a guide and does not guarantee tuition at any level. Additional considerations include timely tuition payments from the previous year, participation in fundraising and volunteer activities, parish involvement, and attendance at parent-teacher conferences and school events.
Sacred Heart Catholic School does not fully fund any student’s tuition; every family is expected to contribute toward the cost of their child’s education. The cost to educate a child at SHCS is $8589. Working together, we ensure that our students receive a strong academic foundation rooted in faith, service, and community.

Grade K-8 Tuition
Grade K – 8, Parishioner (Includes technology fee)
Tuition: $6,985.00/year K-4, $7125.00/year 5-8
Additional Fees
Each new student Pre-K-8 will be assessed a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
Fundraising Fee – All families are expected to raise at least $300 per student during the year. Many options are available to fundraise this amount.
Pre-K Tuition-3 and 4 year olds
All Day Pre-K Rates: 3 and 4 year olds (age by September 1, 2026)
Full day time: 7:20-2:15 pm
Full day, 5 days $925/month
Full day, 4 days $825/month
Full day, 3 days $725/month
Half day, 3 days $475/month (7:20-11:30 am)
Options for three year olds:
Half day, 2 days $375/month (7:20-11:30 am)
Full day, 2 days $625/month
