We are continuing with lessons 84-87.... test #16 on Wednesday, March 10, covering lessons 1-80.

Seventh 

We are beginning our week with lesson 77 and continuing through lesson 79, with an activity day on Friday.

Eighth

Monday will be test 15, covering lessons 1-60, and the rest of the week will be lessons 65 - 68.

Everyone

ALL MATH TESTS are to be corrected by the student, signed by a parent/guardian, and returned to school.  Students receive half-credit for each corrected error.  There is a due date for signed tests to be returned.  If the test is returned after the due date, no additional credit is given for corrections.

There will be Math Help sessions offered for both seventh and eighth graders. This is open to any 7th/8th grader who would like a little assistance with homework or correcting tests or perhaps a certain type of problem.  We can meet until 3:30.

Our St. Thomas tutors are available on Mondays for 7th and 8th graders. 

Sixth

We have begun Chapter 4: Light, Color and Sound... the final chapter of the physical science unit.  We will spend this week and next covering the material.  The test is currently planned for Friday, March 19.

Seventh & Eighth

All students have created a user log-in and password for the text book site:  www. pearsonsuccessnet.com  Students are encouraged to complete assignments using the website text... if there are students who do not have access to the internet, they only need to see me and we can set up time on a computer at school.  If you are having difficulty accessing the chapters or assignments, please let me know!

Our next move is onto WEATHER!

All Grades - Tests

All tests are to be signed, corrected and returned to school.  Students do not receive credit for corrections, but they will be helpful for unit tests!

Thank you, students, for your hard work!  Our deadline is March 17... this Thursday and Friday (11 & 12) will be our last two working days!  If your page is complete, you do not need to attend.  Once our book has been submitted and approved, we will celebrate its completion!

Mathletes are counting down the days!  We will have one more session on Friday, March 19 and then we'll celebrate a year calculated on Friday, April 9.
