Signs of Spring are everywhere!

Check out the list we made of the differences we saw from the walk  we took a month ago, compared to what we saw today, April 15th!  The list is hanging in the hallway.  I think the children were surprised to see all of the changes in nature, over a month's time!

Conferences are right around the corner!

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 27th.  A sign- up list is hanging in the hallway.  I am looking forward to discussing the progress of your child throughout the school year!

 A new unit: Opposites

This week we are learning about opposites.  The children came up with examples of opposites at home and shared them with the class.  We also made a book of opposites at school.

End of year:

The last day of pre-k is Thursday, June 3rd.  We will be having popsicles outside in the back of the school at 11:00. If any parents would like to joins us for our "welcome summer send off,"  please feel free to do so!

Faith in the Home

  • Worship together as a family at Sunday Mass.
  • Establish time each day for family prayers and blessings.
  • Share meals together and pray Grace Before Meals.
  • Display sacred objects in your home, such as a Bible, a crucifix, or an image of Mary with her Son.
  • Tell adapted Bible stories and pray psalm verses.
  • Maintain open channels of communication.  As you know preschoolers can come up with some interesting ideas and questions!
  • Look for opportunities for teaching in everyday life experiences.
